I love holidays, I am kind to myself.. I relax, I enjoy food and eat slowly and happily. I have time to listen and to nurture people around me. I create that space that allows me to do big deep breaths. It is bliss, it is peace and it is love. It is all those things on a grand scale, we are taking every part of the day to look after and care for ourselves.
So I finally get why meditating, yoga, baths, mindfulness, journaling, and beach walks are suppose to be part of my day to day when I am not on a holiday.
When I bring that love and care into my day to day and place right along side work then I don't get burnt out, nor do I feel tired. My relationship is wonderful and I love and nurture myself.
This is the secret... this is what I am trying to achieve.. waking up everyday with that relaxed smile enjoying moments instead of "dreading my day". Some days work tips the scale so I have to do a bit more so I might take small amount of "holiday time" in my day but then other days allows me to soak in a bath, enjoy coffee with a girlfriend and take more "holiday time" during my day.
It is my journey, should I not enjoy it on a daily basis? As much as I would like to live day to day on holidays, I will endeavour to create more "holiday time" in my normal schedule.
I want you to be happy in your career; with my workshops we can tackle any issues that stop you from reaching that. You won't need a sea change but love who you are and what you do.
